Reality check

Forgive me if I am out of the loop and this is old news but I saw some beloved Pullip dolls Gracing the cover of the teen fiction book called Reality Check by Jen Calonita.
I was shocked, excited and a little annoyed to see my girls in such a mainstream place as Barnes and Noble. Oh well here they are.

I went to Target on my lunch break today and I discovered that they had lots of new toys. some toys that I desire and some toys that I just admire. While I was there I suddenly got a vision of all my money disappearing.

Here is a list of some of the joys that I saw.

There were a bunch of MGA toys that caught my eye!

  • There were new Moxie girls including the elusive black one and there outfits weren't hideous. (I really have not been a fan of there previous fashions)

  • There was the BFC inc. doll Calista. She is so cute. The large BFC inc dolls would probably not have even been on my radar if it weren't for some lovely photos from this doll Journal. The photos of the girls are so cute!

  • Also the new Bratz are in store. I have never been a Bratz fan. To me there face molds look like they have either been punched in the mouth or had a severe allergic reaction to something. However I love there clothes for the Dals. The outfits I saw did not disappoint. (Also there was a purple Bratz Cadillac. Purple is my favorite color.)

  • Last of the cute new MGA toys I saw were the Bitty button dolls. I wont be buying these but I thought they were really cute.

Target also had new Liv dolls and fashion packs.
The first time I saw the Liv dolls I loved them and I thought they would photograph great but I really don't like the photos I have seen. However I liked the the after school cool outfits and I may give them a chance.

The one section that was not brimming over with new stuff was the Barbie section. I think they were in the process of filling it because it was mostly bare. They did have the New Wizard of OZ Dorothy out. She is the same face mold as Twilight Bella, and they had the Dolls of the World landmark collection. I did not get a good look at them because it was time for me to go back to work. I'm sure I will have to examine them closely later.

I did not actually purchase anything today but my trip to target was a great escape today!
